Prime Minister Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP)

The Prime Minister Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP) is a credit-linked subsidy scheme launched in 2008 by the Ministry of MSME, India, to generate self-employment by assisting in setting up micro-enterprises in rural and urban areas. It provides 15-35% subsidies on project costs, targeting entrepreneurs to start new ventures.

1. Passport-size photo
2. Copy of AADHAR Card
3. Copy of PAN Card
4. Copy of Educational Qualification Certificate, if any
5. Quotation for:
   a. Plant, Machinery
   b. Consumables, Construction of a shed
6. Copy of local certificate / OBC / ST / PH / Ex-Serviceman
7. Copy of license and NOC (in case of vehicle)
8. Proof of ownership / Tenancy agreement
9. Copy of ration card (with family details)
10. Copy of own/parental house property document, if any
11. Copy of experience certificate, if any
12. Copy of ITR, if applicable
13. Copy of the last receipt of the Life Insurance Policy premium paid, if applicable
14. Copy of Bank Pass Book carrying account details (1st page only)
